Dike or Die! - increase awareness of coastal protection measures

DIE or DIKE? PREVAIL! is an opportunity to get a deeper understanding of the economic and developmental ressources needed to cope with the predicted future water level rise due to climate change. As a player, you have a role as a policy maker/high executive and you have to protect your city. You will meet different challenges and you have to handle storm surges and water level rise - and you have to be able to control the finances also. It is not as easy as it sounds. You have to have a strategy!

The learning objective of the game is to increase the awareness of coastal protection measures that not only protect the city's infrastructure, but also protect and use the city's values, and provide various benefits to the society.
