
Youssef Hussein Attia
Youssef is an architect with seven years of experience in traditional architecture, interior design, and 3D visualizations. Throughout his career, he has worked on diverse projects, blending technical precision with creative problem solving to develop compelling spatial designs and visual narratives. Seeking to expand his expertise beyond traditional architecture, he is currently pursuing a master's degree in strategic design and Entrepreneurship at the Royal Danish Academy. This interdisciplinary education allows him to merge his architectural background with strategic thinking, design innovation, and business development, further refining his ability to communicate complex ideas through visual media.
At Smith Innovation, Youssef is assisting on the Roadmap to Biobased Materials project, by creating illustrations and visual elements that simplify and clarify key messages. His work ensures that research findings, industry insights, and innovative biobased solutions are presented in a visually compelling manner, making them easier to understand and more appealing to decision makers, and the general public. Through his expertise in visual storytelling, he helps bridge the gap between sustainability research and real-world implementation, supporting more informed and engaged audiences in the construction sector.
