Save the date: Smith is hosting a Building Thoughts event and launching a new book
This book is an attempt to address what we believe to be a blind spot in our way of thinking about architecture and the built environment: that we rarely think about how we think when we create and use our cities and buildings. Bio-based construction calls for, and to some extent also requires, a different way of thinking about the creation and use of buildings.

The sound of our time ft. Justine Bell from Djernes & Bell
Based on the Project Lollands Øre, I will discuss with Justine Bell how you learn to listen to the sound of time and identify the layered identity of a place. And how this might help us appreciate the significance of buildings when we are alive AND after.
Eyes Wide Closed ft. Line Kjær Frederiksen from Det Kongelige Akademi
How do we portray and appreciate what is best experienced with eyes wide closed. Based on a comprehensive mapping of biobased materials over time and geographies, Line Kjær Frederiksen will unfold how Biobased materials are a call for diversity in solutions and senses.
