Biobased solutions go beyond harvesting grown materials. In approaches based on metabolism, buildings are created by growing, materials, creating an architecture that is temporal, heterogenic and evolving – that is alive. This discussion addresses how an architecture of the living challenges current thinking in how we make, buy and own materials and buildings.
