Emil is fascinated by how the green transition and the development of the built environment take shape, from political ambitions right through to concrete decisions. He is particularly interested in the intersection between politics and human needs, and how this intersection shapes the cities and communities in which we live.
Emil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics and Philosophy from Copenhagen Business School, where he developed an analytical perspective on values, arguments and social issues, combined with an understanding of organisations and economic contexts. He is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Urban Studies and Planning at Roskilde University, where he is specialising in urban development, planning and the interaction between people and their physical surroundings.
At Smith, Emil is a junior consultant and supports on several projects, and is part of the team behind ‘Pathways to Bio-based Construction’.
