Student Assistant

Tilde Lund Nielsen

Driven by curiosity about people and their different roles in the green transition, Tilde uses her ethnological background to look at sustainability issues through an analytical lens. She understands that different values, interests and means can pursue the same goal.

As a student of European Ethnology, Tilde is interested in people's lifestyles and living conditions - especially the influence of their environment and urban spaces. Her final Bachelor's project focused on the relationship between the quality of life and the built and social environment in local areas, and how these environments contribute to achieving the 'good life'.

At Smith Innovation, Tilde is responsible for external communication and project dissemination, including the Innovation to Market initiative, for which Smith acts as the professional secretariat. Her work involves articulating and visualising the development of the projects that Smith advises, manages and evaluates, highlighting the benefits of welcoming innovative initiatives.

Her studies have given her the skills to communicate cultural phenomena in a targeted manner. Her ethnological perspective enables her to observe the links between micro and macro levels and to understand how large-scale processes affect small-scale matters and everyday life.
